Who I be?

Well most of you know me as Keith Smith. Mild mannered, very awesome husband/dad/friend/deacon/sunday school teacher/RA leader/baseball coach/all around cool dude. I hail from a suburb outside of Atlanta, GA called Douglasville. Where, unlike most people around Atlanta, I was born and raised. American by birth, Southern by the grace of God. (I have always wanted to use that line somewhere) And unlike most people from Georgia, I am not a UGA fan. I am a GA Tech fan. I have a little more class than that. Uh-oh, I hope I don’t offend anyone.

I have a wonderful wife and two wonderful children. I spend most of my time trying to keep up with them. I am truly blessed to have such a great family. Tiffany and I got married in 1999. We were high school sweethearts. And surprise, surprise she got pregnant six months later. Word to the wise, antibiotics counteract the effects of birth control pills. Needless to say, we had our son Parker the next year. Then a few years later my daughter, Ella, was born. By far the two coolest kids on the planet.

Most importantly I am God-fearing follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I became a christian at the age of twelve and haven’t looked back. I have stumbled and even fallen on my path but I never took my eyes off of Christ.

I hope I am not leaving anything out.

Oh yeah….Chad Cottle and Katie Cottle are the coolest people you will ever meet and the best friends anyone could ask for.

I can’t help but notice you did not point out that you have the coolest friends who moved away and left you — maybe you are just bitter :) haha
