Where do we go from here?
It has been a while since I have had the time to write. I have truly missed it and hope to be able to get back to my regular blogging for the entire world to indulge upon. Before I get to how messed up this world and our country currently is, I thought I would share with everyone the things going on in my life.
Thanks to the wonderful economic times, I lost my job at the end of March. I was the last employee of the company that I worked for. The two owners remained to carry on what little business they had. At the time this was a scary new adventure in my life but quickly turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I did get a job two months later at a company in Douglasville. So I look at my short two months of unemployment as an extended vacation. I now have a job ten minutes from home and in a much more relaxed and caring environment. The Lord truly took care of and is taking care of me.
Enough about me though. In the time that I have been secluded from my blog, the world and the U.S. seem to spiraling out of control. Up is now down and left is now right. Things are just not right. We have countries killing innocent protestors, others launching missiles to act like they are tough, airplanes are crashing all over the place and Michael Jackson died. My question to you would be, “Which of these three are most important?” and/or “Which one do you know most about?” I bet most of you care more that Michael Jackson is dead rather than all of the people slaughtered in Iran for disagreeing with the government. I bet you can name the hour you found out that Jackson was dead than name the country trying to provoke military actions by test firing missiles in a show of defiance and strength.
I know I have gone on and on about the so-called “American Idol” culture that is America today. Give us a ten second sound bite with a nice little slogan and we are all happy. How else can you explain a socialist being elected to the White House or the fact a no talent hack is elected to the Senate in the state of Minnesota. It goes along with the old saying, “You get what you paid for.” Well we are getting it now.
I know a lot of people are skeptical and think I spout all of these things out of hate or dislike. I say to them, “You’re wrong!” All of my beliefs are based on facts and what I know to be the best path for our country based on history and the original intention of the Constitution. With that said, I get to one of the many ways that our newest President is a socialist hell-bent on destroying our country and making it into the next Socialist State.
Now is a time for you to be completely honest with yourself. Do you know what has been happening in Iran as well as Honduras and how our government, specifically the President, has responded? Have I lost your interest yet? I hope not, because you really need to read this. Let me break them down one country at a time.
IRAN
Iran recently had “open elections”, in which the current President Ahmadinejad won re-election. Of course this was most likely not what really happened as it is almost certain that he did not win but tampered with the election for his gain. Millions of people took to the street to protest. The candidate running against him called for a recount. Polls done around the country showed that the opposing candidate should have been the clear winner. However, Ahmadinejad was declared the winner. Iranian citizens kept protesting peacefully. So what does the crooked dictator like leader of Iran do? He has the police and military start killing protestors. Innocent, pro-western, pro-democracy, peaceful protestors killed.
How does our President respond when it comes to freedom loving people being slaughtered? First, he stays silent for days. Then, after he breaks his silence he basically says it is not our business it is for them to hash out. Which I can agree with slightly as we do not need to be providing any support with resources, but we should be condemning the acts of the country. Finally, he never truly stands up for liberty and freedom in a country so desperate for it.
Honduras
Honduras also recently had some political changing of hands. But like most good dictators, the current President of Honduras decided that he wanted to keep his power. He decided he could bypass their Constitution and stay on as President, even after their Supreme Court and Attorney General said it was illegal. Luckily, the other representatives of the country didn’t lie down on their backs and let this guy run over them. They sent in the military and exiled the President to Costa Rica. A new guy was sworn in until an election can be held.
One item to note is the ousted President was a socialist dictator in the making. He has close ties to Chavez in Venezuela and Castro in Cuba. Two well known socialist dictators. As would be certain once the exile had taken place, these two leaders spoke out vehemently against the exile. Also, one other person decided to speak up immediately in defense of the disposed dictator. He didn’t wait days or weeks but jumped up instantly in hopes to return this man to power. Could it have been Iran’s leader? Maybe Putin of Russia? While those are good guesses, you would be wrong. It would be the one and only Barack Obama. The President of the United States of America. He immediately had a response for the country to re-instate the leader. He immediately called the actions wrong. He immediately wanted a socialist dictator to stay in power.
The Summary
Contrast the two event by how they were handled and who was the main beneficiary of the U.S. response and then tell me that our President isn’t a far-left Socialist wanting to tax us to no end and let the government control every aspect of our lives.
Remember, that liberty and freedom are rights not privileges.
