More Regulation…..just what we need
Wait a minute…let me check with my panel of experts (aka elected officials) to make sure that is ok to say.
I am not sure how many of you folks have been paying attention to the news lately. I know it is hard to get away from TMZ or Access Hollywood. I know that hearing Mel Gibson’s newly released tirade on tape is fun to listen to or the fact that Lindsay Lohan is going to jail is just to important to focus on anything else. With all that excitement you may not have heard that our Congress just passed a bill, to be signed next week by our President, which creates more and more regulations on banks and other financial institutions. We all know that more regulations lead to great business and wonderful free market ideas.
These regulations come on the heels of other wonderful growths in government control. I won’t rehash them all because if anyone has been paying even the slightest inkling of attention you will know of what I speak. As the private sector unemployment rate hovers around 10%, government numbers not actual, the government sector unemployment rate hovers around 4.4% and is sure to decline as the IRS is adding jobs because of the Healthcare bill. QUICK TANGENT: Why would you hire more people to the IRS for something to do with healthcare? Somebody’s gotta enforce and regulate what you can and cannot do. Sorry, I am back on track now. How could it be that the government number is half or less than half of public sector unemployment? Speculate all you want but it comes down to the fact that our current leaders believe that the bigger the government is and the more control they have, the better our country will be. Kind of scary, huh.
Have you ever wondered how we got into this mess? How could we have elected a President and a Congress that is so forcefully anti-capitalism and anti-freedom? Think on it a minute. I am sure you want to know my answer to this tough question. It is because of our poor education system and the lack of parenting due to the rise of “government” assistance programs. It’s a “pass the responsibility on to others” type of mentality and I am fed up with it. I am tired of being the one that has to suffer for someone else’s idiocy and laziness. I am tired of paying the price for parents who have kids but don’t manage them. I am tired of my kids being punished because someone in their class can’t keep up. I am tired of being held at gunpoint so that the money I worked for is sucked up and sent out to help for the “greater good”. I am tired of the ignorance of some being passed off as gospel every time I turn on the TV.
As school fast approaches I am really feeling a need to blog about our public education system. To many it will make you mad, to others it may open your eyes but to all it will inform. Keep an eye out for that in coming informational sessions.
Until next time.
What to do?
Alright folks, I am in a dilemma. I need your help and your opinions. I really enjoy blogging and writing about the goings on in the political world. However, to write a good detailed blog takes a lot of time that unfortunately I do not have. I am in no way giving up on the blog I just need to know where to take it next. Let me know what you think. I can do more frequent blogs if I just post links and videos with minor commentary or I can post a more detailed blog which will be more infrequent. Tell me what you think. If you have other ideas let me know. Post your comment below or click on “Contact Me” and send me an email.
Until next time.
I have gone mobile.
For all intensive purposes this is a test blog. I have recently acquired a new phone that has WordPress application so I can blog from anywhere. This opens my blog up to a myriad of possibilities.
Such as, I am sitting here watching the news rather than the Olympics since figure skating is on. Of course, when you watch any local news it nothing but one depressing story after another followed by one quirky, useless story. I wonder what the suicide rate of a news anchor is? It has to be high since they are stuck there, behind that desk, reading verbal depression for an hour straight. Then again, they usually don’t wear pants so it can’t be all that bad.
Plus, why do all the sports people look like they couldn’t tell the difference between a baseball and a tennis racquet. They are usually overweight geeks with a cheesy gimmick. BTW…am I the only one who is tired of hearing about Tiger Woods? He’s an idiot now drop it.
I won’t even get into the weather people, except Dagmar of course.
Until next time.
Rep. Kathy Castor – I hope your proud Florida
One time some uber-famous individual screamed what is now one of the most famous quotes in American history, ha-ha. She said…
“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.” Hillary Clinton
I bet you wondering how I could quote something from Hillary Clinton. It is extremely important right now. This quote was made back when George W. Bush was president. It was made when certain liberals falsely accused people of calling them unpatriotic because they were against the President and his policies.
It’s amazing how times have changed. You can do search after search on the town hall meetings that have been going on recently in regards to the Healthcare Reform Bill, aka Socialized Medicine. The American people are rising up against this monstrosity and the same people who were complaining are now complaining that we are disagreeing with them. They are comparing us to Nazi’s and say we are carrying swastikas. Sounds like they have some wonderful compassion and they care to listen my dissenting view.
These wacked out Socialist Liberals complain about being called non-patriotic, without proof, and then compare you to Nazi’s when you disagree with them, with proof. A little scary, huh.
I know there are people out there that disagree with me and want this healthcare bill passed and just love how we are slowly moving towards Socialism. I think you are wrong but I respect your opinion. However, if you have to agree that the level of hypocrisy and lies coming from these representatives is scary stuff.
Watch the videos below of the thugs forcibly removing constituents from Rep. Kathy Castor’s town hall meeting. Ripping shirts and shoving people. You get to see it from both sides of the door. The last video is of a wonderful question that unfortunately wasn’t answered by the Representative because she couldn’t take the heat and had to leave.
If after watching these videos and you still do not agree, please leave a comment to why. I am always open to a good debate.
Until next time.
Some wonderful video’s on Healthcare
Courtesy of Michelle Malkin:
The last one is the best because it comes straight from the horses mouth, aka known as Maryland Senator Ben Cardin. Just listen to the end as Senator Cardin explains how it will be free and “You don’t pay. You are part of the population that shifts its costs over to a person who does pay, and they’re paying for you.” If that isn’t scary I don’t know what is. Here’s the link to the story and the video that goes along with it.
This is a short blog but to the point. Be sure to call your Representative or Senator and tell them NO to this ridiculous healthcare reform, aka Socialized Medicine.
Until next time.
